The company was established by Paul Fosh in 2001 following a long career in estate agency with companies situated across South Wales. Since 2001 the company has grown into the leading property auction house in Wales.

Our history

Based in Newport, south Wales the company has a strong team of highly qualified property and auction house professionals, who are extremely knowledgeable of the south Wales and West Country property market. Continued growth and expansion is planned for the future as well as the increased use of technology to assist buyers and sellers, many of whom are located outside of the area.

The property market has changed dramatically in the past decade and so have all forms of real estate agency including auction sales - but being the leading auction company in Wales must not be enough. 2017 saw the company successfully expand its operations in north Wales and Bristol/West Country with a program of sales running alongside the south Wales auctions. The challenge is to grow the numbers of entries in these locations over the coming months and years.

Adding to the number of auction venues is not however the biggest change the company is planning, as times change so Paul Fosh Auctions must adapt and embrace the change. Technology now allows the company to broadcast its "ballroom" auctions live and in the very near future will feature the ability for people sat in the comfort of their own home or office to follow the sale and to make live bids. This will be supplemented with the introduction of dedicated online auctions and the potential for properties to be sold on a "conditional" basis, allowing more purchasers to use this medium.

And the staff; Numbers of staff have steadily increased over the years and we now proudly have separate specialist residential and commercial teams with dedicated admin support and full, in-house digital marketing expertise. So, the history is wonderful, but the future is so incredibly exciting!
